About the Educate Hub

The Educate Hub Knife Violence Prevention Resource is Lives Not Knives new knife violence prevention resource for educators within schools and community services for children aged between 11-16.

The Educate Hub Knife Violence Prevention Resource is a unique and powerful resource of tools based on lived experience and  insight for educators to teach young people about the impact of knife violence.

Our videos (including real life testimonies), show the lived experience of the effects of knife violence on individuals, families, and communities.

Our resources identify the socioeconomic factors that can increase the risk of carrying a knife or offensive weapon and we offer lesson plans to provide the opportunity for young people to discuss with their educators the alternatives so that all young people can look forward to fulfilling lives.
